Your portrait session is as unique as you are. Before your session we will have a complimentary consultation. This can be done over the phone, by e-mail, as well as in person at your home or perhaps even at your desired portrait location. During this conversation we can discuss your specific goals for your session and the style of portraits you would like. We are happy to give wardrobe suggestions as well as thoughts on where your new portrait artwork can be displayed in your home.

Each session is done on location or at our beautiful downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota portrait studio. Don’t worry if you don’t have a specific location in mind as we have numerous places that can accommodate any sessions desired look. We even have locations that are exclusive to Julie Prairie Photography. During our initial consultation we can give you an idea of just how long you can expect your session to last.

During your session we will do a combination of posed and candid portraits. We work very hard to ensure that you look natural and relaxed but we also make sure all of the small details look perfect as well.

Depending on the session selected we will meet one to two weeks after your portrait session we’ll meet again for your portrait selection session at our studio’s theatre or your completed, edited images will be e-mailed to you.

Session Fees begin at only $75. We are a full service portrait studio offering stunning Wall Art, Heirloom Albums, Gift Print and Premium Digital Collections.
